More Than 5,000 Filipinos Enter Kuwait Each Month
Head of Domestic Labor Offices Union Khalid Al-Dakhnan revealed that more than 5,000 Filipino workers are entering Kuwait on a monthly basis, reports Al-Rai daily.
He affirmed that there is no delay in the travel procedures for Filipinos at the Embassy of Kuwait in Manila, praising the role played by the Kuwaiti Ambassador and the embassy staff in completing the travel procedures within 24 hours from the date of submission of the passports.
Al-Dakhnan said he visited the Embassy of Kuwait in Manila along with the Secretary of the union Ali Shamouh and a member of the board Khalid Al-Qallaf to check on the process for completing the transactions, revealing that nearly 400 passports are completed per day.
He added that the embassy receives about 160 passports on weekly basis and completes the transactions within 24 hours from the date the passports are handed over.
