Deployment Of Filipino Workers To Kuwait Is Expected To Resume In June

It was revealed to Arabic daily Al-Anbaa by a reliable source in the Public Authority for Manpower that an official Filipino delegation will visit Kuwait at the end of this month to discuss the Philippine labor agreement and the resumption of sending specialized workers.

Following the suspension of Filipino domestic workers and specialized workers' recruitment to Kuwait in January, the authority is coordinating with the relevant authorities to take the necessary steps.

He expected the Filipino workers to resume arriving in Kuwait at the beginning of next month after the completion of the Philippine procedures which is expected by month end. In addition to reviewing the workers' status, the delegation will meet with stakeholders, such as government agencies and domestic worker recruitment agencies.
