Vehicle Registration And Driving License On Mobile Id Are Accepted As Valid Documents

Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, issued a ministerial decision. In accordance with Law 679 of 2023, Kuwait will accept the driver's license and vehicle registration in the Kuwait Mobile ID app as a valid official document in all government and non-government transactions.

The decision stipulates that a driver’s license and a permit to operate a vehicle through the Kuwait Mobile ID app are accepted by all authorities in the country. They must be acted upon in all governmental and non-governmental transactions, and to infer their existence and validity.
