Prices For The Hajj May Decrease This Year

26 November 2023 Hajj And Umrah

According to Ahmed Al-Duwaihi, the Hajj Caravans Union, this year's Hajj season will differ from other seasons due to Saudi Arabia's decision to allow pilgrims to register early for the festival. In order to give caravans and companies time to prepare and provide all services well before the Hajj season starts, Al-Anba daily reports.

Al-Duwaihi explained to the daily that the central registration for the 2024 Hajj season will continue until December 13 via the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs platform. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information, Endowments, and Islamic Affairs, will be the patron of the fifth Hajj exhibition. On the prices this year, he expects that Hajj prices this year will be better than the previous season due to the early registration scheme, as it gives caravans more time to contract with hotels and other necessary services. Al-Duwaihi said the exhibition is different this year due to the participation of most Hajj caravans and companies, which will offer pilgrims all services and comforts.

According to Al-Duwaihi, Kuwait's quota for pilgrims this year is 8,000 through 63 caravans that have been nominated. Kuwait, represented by the ministry, requested that this year's pilgrimage number be increased to 8,000. He asserted that his brothers in the Kingdom would do their best to help us. According to Al-Duwaihi, the process of registering Bedouns will continue until Dec 13 or until the necessary approvals are obtained from the relevant authorities.
