39 Minors Invited To Umrah
Al-Seyassah reports that the Public Authority for Minors Affairs conducted an information session yesterday for Umrah pilgrims for the year 1445 AH.
According to the Authority's Director, Hamad Al-Barjas, supporting religious and social activities is part of the Authority's commitment to fostering religious and educational awareness, as well as providing favorable conditions for minors and those under its care to perform Umrah rituals.
Under the sponsorship of the Authority, 39 minors, both male and female, will be accompanied by their mahrams during the Umrah pilgrimage, scheduled for Jan 29 to Feb 2. The delegation will also consist of supervisors and administrators.
A team of professionals from the Charitable Thirds Control Department, the Social Welfare Department, and the Public Relations Department accompany the group.
The delegation will distribute copies of the Qur'an, prayer booklets, pamphlets, and remembrances, as well as offer instruction sessions on Umrah rituals. Moreover, bags containing necessary supplies will be distributed.
According to him, the Umrah pilgrimage is an annual initiative that the Authority organizes for minors under its care, subject to specific conditions and aligned with the annual religious activities plan.
