Knpc Offers 550 Jobs To New Kuwaiti Engineers
The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) through lots distributed 550 jobs to new Kuwaiti graduates, who were earlier accepted to work by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and its subsidiaries, reports Al-Anba daily. The sources said the representatives of all relevant authorities were present when the graduates were chosen through lots. On this occasion, the Executive Vice President for Administrative and Commercial Affairs, and the official spokesperson for the company, Ahed Al-Khorayef, said this batch of engineers covers various disciplines, in addition to some science majors, according to the employment announcement that was published in October 2020.
He added selecting employees through lots is the first of its kind that the company conducts remotely (online) via the Internet, in order to ensure that it adheres to the requirements of social distancing, to ensure the safety of everyone, noting that links have been sent to the new employees so that they can see the lottery process and follow-up its results directly on the company’s website. Al-Khorayef explained the lottery was distinguished by the ease of procedures, accurate system and transparency, noting that in addition to specifying the name of the company where the selected employee will be working, the department he will join and the title of the job.
The Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) affirmed that it strictly applies international laws and Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (KCASR) to all licenses and in accordance with the highest international standards, reports Al-Qabas daily. The DGCA said it is always striving to raise the capabilities of its national competencies by attracting new experiences. It indicated all legal measures will be taken against anyone who questions this aspect.
