Expats Who Are Exempted From Taking Vaccine Cannot Enter Kuwait

29 July 2021 Expats

After issuing new travel procedures for Kuwaiti citizens and expats arriving into Kuwait, expats who are exempted from vaccination due to health reasons will not be allowed to enter Kuwait.

Increase in capacity to allow more than 5,000 passengers per day will prevent a rise in ticket prices. The DGCA is waiting for approval to increase the capacity of arriving expats to 10,000 per day in order to return to normalcy as it was in the past.

Direct flights to high-risk countries will not be opened at present in order to preserve the health system in the country, reports Al Qabas. Expats children below 16 will not be allowed to enter provided they are accompanied by their parents who are vaccinated with approved vaccines in Kuwait.
