Kuwait Airport Expects 5.57 Million Passengers During Summer Vacation

The Director General of Civil Aviation in Kuwait has projected a bustling summer season at Kuwait International Airport, with an estimated 5.57 million passengers anticipated to pass through its terminals. This surge in passenger traffic is expected to span from the beginning of June until mid-September, accompanied by approximately 42,117 departing and arriving flights.

Abdullah Al-Rajhi, Acting Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety, Air Transport, and Aviation Security, shared this forecast in a statement released via the administration’s official channel on “X.” Highlighting the diverse array of seasonal destinations available this summer, Al-Rajhi listed Malacca, Trabzon, Sarajevo, Bodrum, Nice, Sharm El-Sheikh, Vienna, Salalah, Antalya, and Krakow in Poland among the planned routes.

Moreover, Al-Rajhi outlined the top five destinations expected to see significant traffic, including Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha. Emphasizing the preparedness of the General Administration of Civil Aviation staff, Al-Rajhi assured travelers of their commitment to delivering exceptional assistance and services throughout the travel experience.

As Kuwait International Airport gears up for the summer rush, passengers can anticipate a seamless and efficient journey, with dedicated support from airport personnel ensuring a smooth travel experience for all.
