Video - Aircraft Carries Remains Of 45 Indian Workers - List Of Names
A devastating fire in a six-storey building in Mangaf block, Kuwait's Ahmadi Governorate, has claimed the lives of at least 49 people, including 24 Malayalis. The Department of Non-Resident Keralites Affairs (NORKA) confirmed that 24 Keralites were among the victims.
Casualties by Nationality
Out of the 49 fatalities, 45 were Indians, and the remaining were Pakistani, Filipino, Egyptian, and Nepali nationals. The Indian casualties included individuals from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and other states.

The fire's impact was particularly severe on the Keralite community, with 24 individuals losing their lives. The deceased from Kerala are:

Current Medical Situation
Out of the 35 individuals placed under intensive care, seven are in critical condition, with at least five on ventilator support. Those injured are currently receiving medical care in five government hospitals in Kuwait: Adan, Jaber, Farwaniya, Mubarak Al Kabeer, and Jahra hospitals.
