Amir Sheikh Mishal Congratulates Saudi King Salman On Successful Hajj Season

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a congratulatory cable to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, praising the successful Hajj (greater pilgrimage) season. The Amir commended the Kingdom’s leadership for their substantial efforts in facilitating the pilgrimage for millions of people from around the world, highlighting the advanced technologies and services used to assist the pilgrims.

His Highness the Amir also lauded the efforts of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, governor of the Makkah region and head of the Hajj central committee, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif Al-Saud, Minister of Interior and head of the supreme Hajj committee, for their dedication to ensuring a smooth pilgrimage. He wished the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia continued success and prosperity.

Similarly, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah sent a cable of congratulations to King Salman, echoing praise for Saudi Arabia’s use of advanced technology and services to aid pilgrims. The Crown Prince also commended the efforts of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud for their outstanding work in facilitating the Hajj.

His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah also sent a congratulatory cable to King Salman, acknowledging the successful Hajj season.

On Sunday, the Ambassador of Kuwait to Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, praised the Kuwaiti Hajj delegation for their efforts in serving pilgrims. Speaking to KUNA and Kuwait TV after visiting the Kuwaiti delegation's headquarters in Makkah, he expressed pride in the delegation's commitment to serving Kuwaiti pilgrims. He extended his highest congratulations to King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, and the Saudi people for the successful Hajj season and Eid Al-Adha. He commended Saudi Arabia's tremendous efforts in all sectors to serve the pilgrims of the Holy House of Allah, praying for their reward.

Meanwhile, President of the Kuwaiti Hajj Caravan Owners Union, Ahmed Al-Duwaihi, announced that 40 flights would commence on Wednesday to return pilgrims to Kuwait after performing Hajj rituals. He praised Allah for the pilgrims' safe return and assured the public of their good health. He expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for their excellent organization and hospitality during Hajj. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed that these flights would operate from Wednesday to Friday, with Flynas Airlines starting and Saudia Airlines concluding the flights, transporting approximately 8,000 pilgrims on Kuwait Airways and Saudi Airways flights.

Pilgrims continued performing the stoning rites in Mina on Tuesday, the third day of Eid Al-Adha and the second day of Al-Tashriq, before heading to the Holy Kaaba for the final circumambulation (Tawaf Al-Wadaa). Those in a hurry performed the stoning rites and left Mina before sunset, while others would perform the rites on the third day of Al-Tashriq and then proceed to Makkah for Tawaf Al-Wadaa.
