General Traffic Department Monitors Public Transport Buses, Issues 1,778 Violations

The Security Control Section of the General Traffic Department conducted an extensive monitoring operation of public transport buses across all governorates from Saturday, June 15, 2024, to Tuesday, June 25, 2024. During this period, authorities issued a total of 1,778 traffic violations. These infractions included obstructing traffic, improper standing in line, picking up passengers from undesignated locations, and failing to adhere to designated routes. Notably, five buses were specifically cited for violating the designated route rule.
