Head of the Workers Union in the Ministry of Health Hussein Sabeel Al-Azmi has appealed to Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi to apply the flexible fingerprint attendance mechanism to all employees like other ministries and government agencies.
In a press statement, Al-Azmi pointed out that the flexible fingerprint attendance mechanism is easier for the employees and allows them to have a comfortable shift with balanced working hours to ensure they do not neglect their tasks.
He affirmed this is in line with the principles of justice and integrity, and it will guarantee job satisfaction for all employees in the health sector. He suggested applying the mechanism to all ministry employees on an experimental basis in the initial stage, and then to adopt it fully by taking into account the nature of the work of various health professions. He reiterated that its application will create a suitable work environment for the employees, as they could prove their attendance in a flexible manner.
