A Military Man Arrested For Assaulting Traffic Officer

A military man working for the Ministry of Defense has been arrested for assaulting a lance corporal working for the Road Security Rescue department while on duty, reports Al- Rai daily. The victim got a cut on the head during a fight between both men. This happened when the victim issued the military man a traffic citation on the Sepia Road. When the suspect produced his ID and introduced himself as a military man, the victim reportedly insisted on issuing him a ticket. This angered the military man and he punched the victim in the face.

Wanted juvenile held: Police have arrested a bedoun juvenile who was wanted by law in several theft cases and driving a stolen motorcycle, reports Al-Shahed daily. The suspect was arrested in Jahra. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities
