Mother And Daughter Arrested For Prostitution And Extortion
The Public Prosecution ordered the precautionary detention of two bedouns, a mother and her daughter, on charges of inciting a number of citizens to debauchery and prostitution and extorting their money through threats. The Public Prosecution said in a statement published on its account on the “X” platform, Thursday, that the two defendants display their adornment to entice them, so they propose to get to know the daughter, then a good-intentioned emotional relationship is established that ends with them luring them to have a physical relationship with her with consent, and then the two defendants extort money from them by blackmailing them, by reporting against them the crime of physical relationship with a minor by force and deceit, reports Al-Jarida daily. The Prosecution added that the two defendants used these tactics to gain money, and the total amount collected from the victims in exchange for their waiver in the cases registered against them in the Public Prosecution amounted to 54,000 Kuwaiti dinars. She explained that the two accused were interrogated and the prosecution confronted them with the charges against them, and investigation procedures are still underway.
