Police Arrested Four People After Raiding A Local Liquor Factory In Al-wafra
On the day before yesterday, police detectives raided a house in Al-Wafra, consisting of two floors, that was being used as a liquor factory.
The police arrested four Asians who ran the business and found significant quantities of local liquor. According to a security source who informed “Al-Anba,” confidential information was received by the criminal detectives indicating the presence of a local liquor factory in the residential area of Al-Wafra.
A surveillance and investigation revealed that the two-story house was rented by four Asians and used as a liquor factory.
An investigation into the presence of the four suspects inside the house led to the discovery of 1400 bottles of locally manufactured liquor and 84 bottles of liquor.
The site also contained specialized equipment and tools for producing local liquor. As a result of their interrogation, the four suspects confessed to producing approximately 1000 bottles of liquor a day and distributing them to their customers with delivery services all over Ahmadi Governorate. They were handed over to the appropriate authorities along with the confiscated items.
