One American Dies Every 33 Seconds Due To Corona

While hopes to vaccinate 20 million people by New Year's Day have faded, the United States now faces new challenges in its war against Corona.

Over the past week, the average daily death toll from the Corona virus in the United States has reached 2,637, according to Johns Hopkins University.

This rate equals one death from Corona every 33 seconds.

Health experts expect that the number of deaths in Corona in America until President Joe Biden's inauguration will exceed 400,000.

About 15.4 million doses of vaccines have been distributed in the United States, but only 4.5 million people received their first dose, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This is far from what officials had hoped by this time, and this means that "herd immunity" is still several months away.
