Sahel App Launches Electronic Ration Card Renewal
In a recent announcement, Yousef Kazem, the official spokesman for the unified government application for electronic services (Sahel), revealed that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has introduced a new electronic service for renewing ration cards through the Sahel application.
This initiative, according to Kazem, is a direct response to the directives issued by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Al-Joaan, emphasizing the need to streamline procedures and enhance accessibility to ministry services, especially those catering to citizens. The goal is to expedite transactions and simplify processes, making them more accessible via the Sahel application.
Kazem outlined the steps for users seeking to renew their ration cards electronically. Through the Sahel application, users can navigate to the “services” menu, select the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, access the “individual services” section, and opt for the “request to renew the ration card” option. From there, users can initiate and complete the renewal process directly within the application.
This latest addition to the Sahel application reflects ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to embrace digital transformation and enhance service delivery for citizens. With the convenience of electronic renewal, individuals can now manage their ration card requirements efficiently from the comfort of their smartphones, contributing to a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.
