Sahel's New Customs Service Simplifies Individual Authorization

Yousef Kazem Abbas, the official spokesperson for the unified government application for electronic services (Sahel), has announced the introduction of new customs services through the application. These services, which include requesting individual authorization and inquiring about individual authorization, aim to streamline customs procedures for citizens.

Kazem explained that these newly added services empower individuals to authorize representatives for tasks such as receiving shipments, obtaining policy documents, and managing various customs-related procedures. All these actions can now be conveniently initiated and tracked through the Sahel application for electronic government services, providing citizens with greater ease and accessibility.

He emphasized the commitment of the General Administration of Customs to swiftly enhance its services in line with its vision of achieving digital transformation and improving citizen experience.
