Misr Insurance Company In Kuwait Will Provide Insurance For Egyptian Workers In The Country
Director General of Misr Insurance Company in Kuwait Dr Diaa Abduljalil said the company will provide new insurance service for Egyptians working in the country, indicating the death benefit for the insured is KD 2,000 after paying very cheap premium.
Speaking to the daily, Abduljalil disclosed this service was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the company’s board of directors, Ministry of Commerce and the Egyptian Embassy.
;He said the applicant will pay between KD 4 to KD 10 once a year, and in return, the company will pay KD 800 if the insured paid KD 4 and KD 1,200 if the insured paid KD 10. He added the company will also shoulder the cost for the processing and transport of the deceased to Egypt.
He clarified that if the insured returns to Egypt for good due to cancellation of contract or arbitrary dismissal or any other reason, the company will pay him and his family, if they are with him, all the travel expenses maximum 25 percent of the insured amount. He said the insurance also covers permanent loss of sight, legs or feet, arms or feet, hands or legs, arms or hands, arms and legs, and hands and legs.
