Kuwaiti Faces Questions About Luxury Vehicle Scam

As per the instruction of a police investigator, a Kuwaiti citizen was summoned for questioning as he has been accused of defrauding a Gulf national, reports Al-Anba daily. The defendant allegedly accepted KD8,000 from the victim in exchange for transferring ownership of a luxury vehicle, but failed to complete the sale or return the money. Under Case No. 240/2024 titled ‘Fraud’, a lawyer acting as the complainant’s representative filed a report stating that his client had fallen victim to fraud and deception. His client had allegedly been tricked into handing over KD8,000 to a Kuwaiti who promised to transfer ownership of the luxury vehicle, but did not do so.
