Kuwait's Commerce Minister Is Reassuring About Basic Food Supplies

The Kuwait's Commerce and Industry Ministry said on Wednesday that Kuwait's basic food supplies are at the top levels.

Citizens and expatriates are requested not to engage or rebroadcast any material on social media, including messages from people or unofficial groups calling on them to stockpile basic food supplies, and to rely on Ministry officials for official information.

It said that all of the country's specialized authorities are playing their roles to ensure that goods are available and to prevent any scarcity.

A consumer should lay down and just buy what he or she needs without unnecessary panic rather than store these items, the report asserted.
