Experts Predict More Rain And Hail
According to Al-Qabas daily, the Ministry of Public Works and other concerned entities handled the moderate to heavy rains that hit the country on Sunday efficiently. The amount of rain has increased in Jahra, Sulaibkhat, Doha, Quraiwan, Saad Al-Abdullah, Jaber Al-Ahmad, South Surra, Ahmadi, Hadiya, Raqqa, Kaifan and Jabriya, according to the daily. Security and traffic officers were deployed along the main roads and streets to control security, deal with emergencies, and regulate traffic.
The Meteorological Department confirmed that rains will continue until Monday with varying intensities - light, moderate, and heavy, as well as thunderstorms. There is a possibility of hailstorms, strong winds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour, dust clouds resulting in reduced visibility, and waves of more than seven feet.
