In Kuwait, Scattered Rain And Thunderstorms Are Forecast Until Tuesday

The Kuwait Meteorological Department has issued a weather advisory warning of scattered rain accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, ranging from light to moderate intensity. This weather pattern commenced on Monday morning and is projected to persist until midday on Tuesday.

Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, Director of the Meteorological Department, provided insights to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), attributing the prevailing weather conditions to the influence of a surface depression and a humid air mass. Additionally, an upper-level depression contributes to the proliferation of low and medium clouds, occasionally interspersed with cumulus clouds.

Al-Qarawi elaborated on the implications of these atmospheric phenomena, indicating favorable conditions for scattered rain of varying intensity, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms. Active winds are also expected to stir up dust, reducing horizontal visibility, particularly in exposed areas, and leading to rising sea waves.

Forecasts suggest that the depression will diminish by tomorrow afternoon, allowing for the advancement of high pressure. Consequently, weather conditions are expected to stabilize, with clouds dissipating and rain chances gradually diminishing. Warm daytime temperatures are anticipated, with mild conditions prevailing at night.

The Kuwait Meteorological Department advises residents and travelers to remain vigilant and stay updated on weather forecasts during this period of unsettled weather conditions.
