Egypt: A Man Parades Through The Streets Naked After Killing His Pregnant Wife

She had fled her parents' house deluged with problems, local media reported. Her husband stabbed her to death after she fled.

It has been reported that the 27-year-old husband, a cousin of the victim, stripped naked after committing the crime and paraded through Helwan city to show his guilt.

Family members of the couple claim that their relative suffers from a psychological disorder, and that he went back to the kitchen to get a knife to kill the suspect's neighbor after he was fighting with a neighbour. In an attempt to stop him, he stabbed his wife in the back and abdomen six times, killing her instantly.

Her relative said that the three-month pregnant woman abandoned school and got married to escape the plight of her parents, adding, "her family sold her to a psychopath to make money".

In response to reports from the victims' neighbours, Helwan police responded to the scene and arrested the suspect, who had the knife used to kill his wife in his possession.
