2 Teenage Syrian Expats Held For Theft
Two teenage Syrian expatriates were apprehended for theft by detectives from Farwaniya Security Directorate, says Public Relations and Security Information Department of the Interior Ministry.
Acting on several complaints the sector received about two youths on a motorbike specialized in snatching the bags of pedestrians in Farwaniya area, security operatives intensified measures to facilitate their arrest by setting a trap for them.
Upon their arrest, the first suspect (16 years old) identified as M.T.H. and his partner (17 years old) identified as S.S.B. confessed to the crime and admitted stealing the motorbike from a fast-food joint located in the area to snatch the bags of unsuspecting victims. They were referred to the concerned authority for necessary legal action.
