Traffic Violation Scams: Moi Warns Of Fake Messages Claiming Payment

People have been warned about fake spam messages impersonating the Ministry of Interior and asking them to pay traffic fines.

Security Relations and Media General Administration called on everyone to be alert and not deal with fake messages or websites. Fake messages are being send to individual with bogus link to pay traffic fines and authorities advised people not to click on any such links.

According to the authority, the Ministry of Interior sends alerts for traffic violations on the unified government application 'Sahel App'.
