The Epidemiological Situation Continues To Stabilize In The Country
The epidemiological situation continues to stabilize in the country, as the Ministry of Health announced yesterday the registration of 39 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 412,371, while one death was recorded, bringing the total number of 2458 deaths.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said that 36 cases of recovery were also recorded, bringing the total number of people recovered to 409,344, indicating that the percentage of total recovery cases out of the total infections amounted to 99.27 percent.
He stated that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 7, while the total number of cases that were confirmed to be infected and are still receiving the necessary care reached 569, while the total number of cases in (Covid-19) wards reached 20.
He added that the number of swabs that were conducted during the same period amounted to 19,429, bringing the total of examinations to 4,602,129, noting that the infection rate for the number of these swabs is 0.20 percent.
