Special Forces Control A Gathering Of Expats At A Shelter In Kabd
The Special Forces managed to control the gathering of a number of Egyptian expatriates in violation of the residency law, who are inside a shelter , by using tear gas to disperse them. Security sources said that the violators, who have been present for more than 3 weeks, inside the shelters gathered and demanded the speedy end of their evacuation, and chanted slogans condemning the government’s dealings with them.
The sources confirmed that their deportation to their countries has no issues with Kuwait, and the delay is due to the closure of the Egyptian airspace and the absence of flights to transport them. The sources stressed that the security of Kuwait is a red line, and that the instructions issued to the security men are clear and explicit and stipulate dealing firmly with the rioters, noting that the security services will not allow chaos or bypassing the law. The sources urged all violators in the shelters to abide by the law, stressing that it will take the maximum legal measures followed with violators of the laws.
