Kerala Man Travels To Dubai To Buy Iphone 14 Pro
Apple devices offer an unparalleled user experience. Products designed by Cupertino-based company are known for their cutting-edge feature and of course, the great looks. So, it's only fair some people are crazy about Apple products. None more so than this Kerala man.
Kochi-based businessman Dheeraj Palliyil travelled to Dubai to become one of the first iPhone owners.Â
On Thursday, Palliyil flew to Dubai and waited in long queues to get his hands on the new product. The wait was finally over as, on Monday, around 7am IST, he got his hands on iPhone 14 Pro from a premium reseller in Mirdif City Centre in Dubai.Â
Among the hundreds of people waiting outside Apple's store for the new iPhone, Palliyil became the first to buy it.Â
Palliyil has bought an iPhone on the first day of sale after traveling to Dubai for the fourth consecutive time.Â
Apparently, Palliyil spent around Rs 40,000 on his ticket fare and Rs 1,29,000 (5,949 AED) on a deep purple iPhone with 512 GB storage.
During the launch of iPhone 8 in 2017, he came to Dubai first to purchase it.
"When sales in Dubai began in 2019, even weeks before the model was launched in India, I purchased the iPhone 11 Pro Max from the same seller in Mirdif City Centre first. I was also the first customer when the sale of iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 began in Dubai," he said.Â
Apple wants to make its devices as indispensable as ever. The new iPhones and Apple Watches have a crash detection feature, for example, and your iPhone will be able to send emergency messages via satellite connectivity.
All those additions are on top of the normal enhancements you'd expect — a new chipset for the iPhones, camera improvements across the iPhone lineup, a temperature sensor and low-power mode for the Apple Watch, and improved audio features in the AirPods Pro 2. Â
