In Kuwait, Apple Pay Will Launch Next Month

Apple Inc.'s mobile payment service "Apple Pay" that allows users to make payments in person will be launched in Kuwait next month. Apple has reached an understanding with the Ministry of Finance that allows activating the application of the “Apple Pay” service in Kuwait soon, local Arabic daily Al-Rai reported.

According to the report, local banks have already begun preparing to launch the service next October.

By using the "Apple Pay" service, customers can make financial payments electronically via the "iPhone" and smart watch. Use of this service also facilitates and simplifies financial payments, compared to using a payment card, through various purchase channels. Its most prominent feature is the ability to send and receive money via simple messages, as well as request a specific amount of money from others.
