According to Al-Qabas daily, Farid Emadi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, issued a decision to form a committee to control Hajj prices, with the participation of the Ministry of Commerce, so that the price of Hajj services does not exceed 30% of the cost, including administrative expenses and profits.

In a press statement, Emadi added that the committee has chosen a particular method for the Hajj program offered by the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs, and that registration will be done through an electronic link that the department will publish soon.

He explained that the Hajj program includes basic services such as lodging in a furnished building, meals (buffet system), modern buses to travel between locations according to established requirements, as well as preparing the Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah camps, providing train tickets, and airport reception, all of which are included in airline tickets.
