Fake Asian Doctor Treating Illegals, Selling Abortion Pills Arrested

Personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department have arrested an unidentified Asian man for practicing medicine without license, reports Arab Times daily.

Acting on a tip-off police put the suspect’s apartment in Khaitan under surveillance for quite some time and when caught the man red-handed, there were three other men with who had gone to receive treatment.

During interrogation the man said he had been practicing medicine for the past five years inside his apartment. He also said on a daily basis he received 10 patients most of whom were violators of residence law. He also said he was selling pills to women to induce abortion for KD 50. The money was refundable if the pills failed to abort the fetus. Police have seized a quantity of forbidden medicines.
