A prominent fashion influencer and a citizen were sentenced to two years of imprisonment with hard labor and a fine of 2,000 dinars in a case involving incitement to immorality, debauchery, and prostitution on social media platforms. The Criminal Court, presided over by Judge Abdullah Al-Osaimi, handed down the sentence against the influencer and the citizen following accusations of promoting indecency, debauchery, and engaging in prostitution via social networking sites. According to case details, the court confronted the accused with evidence showing that she had sent explicit images and video clips to the victim via WhatsApp, leading him to file a complaint against her.
