A Total Of 25 Expat Engineers Have Been Fired

Engr Ali Al-Farsi, Director-General of the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR), issued a decision suspending the director of the Execution and Maintenance Department in the Agricultural Sector for three months and recommending an investigation over negligence and failure to follow up transactions with the companies.

Public Works Minister Engr Ali Al-Mousa directed the director general to terminate 25 expatriate engineers. Kuwaiti engineers will replace these expatriates, who will then follow contracts through to completion.
