Many People Are Granted Visas

Azamat Karagulov, the ambassador extraordinaire and plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Kuwait, said his country has granted visas to citizens of eleven countries. According to Al-Qabas daily, the government of Kyrgyzstan has decided to extend the simplified visa-granting system to Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Nepal, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Sri Lanka.

According to Karagulov, the main requirement for granting a visa to citizens of the aforementioned countries is the fact that they must be a legal resident of Kuwait, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman or Brunei.

In order to create favorable investment and tourism conditions in Kyrgyzstan, the ambassador stated that this decision was taken as part of the visa regime relaxation process.
