Kuwait Bans Entry Of Filiipinos Even With Valid Entry Visa

The Ministry of Interior has issued a directive to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to restrict the entry of Filipino passengers into Kuwait, even if they hold a valid entrance visa. This mandate, which is effective immediately and until further notification, does not impact Filipino nationals possessing valid Kuwaiti residency.

The airport passports department, in a recent circular, clarified that these restrictions do not apply to Filipinos who have a legitimate residency status in Kuwait. The directive has been communicated to Kuwait Airport, directing them to deny entry to Filipino passengers who obtained their visas prior to the enforcement of this suspension.

This directive essentially means that no Filipino citizen holding a visa issued before this suspension will be granted entry into Kuwait. The only exception to this rule would be for those Filipinos who have valid residency permits, who will continue to be granted entry into the nation.
