World's Famous Footballers To Attend Jaber Stadium Inauguration
The organizer committee of the inauguration of Jaber Stadium on Thursday revealed names of six of the world's top footballers in the legendary squad that will play against a Kuwaiti star team on December 18.
The famous stars to play against Kuwaitis on Jaber Stadium will include Brazilian Ronaldo de Assis Moreira (Ronaldinho), Spanish defender Carles Puyol, Manchester United's Paul Scholes, Juventus's Alessandro Del Piero and his compatriot Gianluca Zambrotta, and French Robert Pir?¨s, the committee said in a statement.
Ronaldinho, Puyol and Pir?¨s have confirmed through their social media accounts that they would take part in the inauguration of the new stadium, it noted. Names of the rest of the 15 world's footballers, to be coached by Carlos Ancelotti, will be announced over the coming days. The Italian legend referee Pierluigi Collina will be present, the committee said.
