A Turkish Airways plane carried 342 Turkish passengers from Kuwait to Istanbul, Turkey, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Friday. The DGCA said the flight is part of a plan to facilitate the return of expats willing to return to their homeland. This comes as the country is grappling with the coronavirus crisis.

Another flight of the national carrier is flying 300 Filipino passengers to Manila, the Philippines, according to the same arrangement.
