Additional Flights To Major European Hubs Announced By Kuwait Airways
Kuwait Airways unveiled its flight schedule for the upcoming summer season of 2024, emphasizing popular destinations from June to September. Abdul Mohsen Al-Faqaan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, outlined the airline’s strategy to meet anticipated high demand by adding extra flights to key destinations such as London, Amsterdam, Munich, Vienna, and Geneva.
Highlighting the summer hotspots, Al-Faqaan mentioned the increased frequency of flights to destinations like Antalya, Bodrum, Trabzon, Sharm El-Sheikh, Malaga, and Nice. The airline plans to operate 54 destinations during the summer season, in addition to its regular flights to established routes.
Al-Faqaan emphasized Kuwait Airways’ meticulous planning and market analysis to ensure the feasibility and demand for these destinations, underscoring the company’s commitment to diversifying its global network.
Moreover, Kuwait Airways aims to enhance customer experience by deploying its wide-body Boeing B777-300 aircraft on most European routes, offering premium Royal and Business class services. The airline also finalized code-share agreements with Greece Air and Thai Airways, expanding its reach to destinations like Mykonos, Santorini, and several other cities.
Regarding operational readiness, Abdullah Al-Habib, Director of the Engineering Department, assured that the department is fully prepared to adhere to the summer schedule and conduct regular maintenance checks on aircraft and engines. Coordination with contracted companies ensures timely delivery of spare parts, prioritizing passenger and aircraft safety in compliance with aviation regulations and standards.
