Exemption Of Syrians From National Carrier Ticket Requirement For Family Visit Visa

Syrian nationals are exempted from the travel requirement on national carrier’s aircraft while coming on a family visit visa to Kuwait due to the absence of direct flights by Kuwait Airways and Al Jazeera to Syria.

This decision is based on the absence of direct flights by the Kuwaiti national carrier to Syria, local Arabic daily Al Jarida reported.

The daily also reported that similar exemptions are also given to nationals of some North African countries and Ethiopia.
