The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Traffic and Operations, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, and the Assistant Director General of the General Traffic Department for Licensing Affairs, Brigadier Yusef Al-Khadda, learned during the past weeks about the new experience introduced by Traffic Investigation officers with the aim of pursuing violators and reckless ones, indicating that the Traffic Investigations They conducted several field experiments in the presence of Major General Al Sayegh and Brigadier General Al-Khadda for “drones” equipped with precise digital cameras, which proved to be very successful in locating gathering sites and recklessness and monitoring violating vehicles.

The source added that the Traffic Investigations officers applied the experiment in the field for the first time yesterday morning, when they spotted a site of recklessness in the agricultural area of ​​Al-Wafra, and the process of reviewing and disdainfulness of three sports vehicles was pursued, photographed and documented by drones, and then orders were given to traffic patrols to raid the site and arrest the reckless and those who denied their presence With any contradictory behavior and that they were in (Kashta), the Traffic Investigations officers confronted them with what the drones depicted of committing serious traffic violations.

The source stated that the Traffic Investigations officers referred the three underprivileged persons to the Traffic Detention Glasses, seized their vehicles, and referred them to the reservation garage, indicating that the three violators had been issued with indictment reports from the Traffic Prosecution Department of the Violations Investigation Department in preparation for their referral to the Traffic Court next Sunday.

He pointed out that the prosecution department attached the accusation records to the video clips that were taken by “drones” in preparation for presenting them to the traffic court judge as evidence against the violators.
