The Supreme Committee Holds First Meeting To Restart Commercial Trips At Kuwait International Airport
The Supreme Committee held its first meeting to restart commercial flights at Kuwait International Airport today, chaired by the President of Civil Aviation Sheikh Salman Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah where plans for a progressive commercial flight restart in several stages at Kuwait International Airport were discussed as per the requirements in accordance with international laws and regulations related to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and other international organizations in light of the pandemic.
Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah said after the meeting that the committee will implement the proposals submitted by the relevant authorities related to the progressive restart, airlines and ground services companies regarding preparations to support the restart of the sector Air transport according to the approved plan.
He stated that the Supreme Committee will oversee the implementation of the approved plan for employment, in a manner that meets the standard rules and recommended working methods, and health and security measures adopted internationally and locally, and measure their effectiveness in line with the international requirements required to confront the pandemic of “Covid 19”, in addition to reviewing and approving recommendations to support the sector Civil aviation and related parties affected by the virus.
This comes in addition to the laws and regulations issued by the “Civil Aviation”, and the decisions issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Health and the General Administration of Customs related to countering “Covid 19”.
