Testing Time For Government Schools

While about 80,000 teachers and administrators are set to begin work in the Ministry of Education schools after a break of one year-and-a-half due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is ‘a testing time’ for the ministry when it comes to preparing the schools and receiving students as per the health requirements and relying on the Ministry of Health to prevent infection among students and staff members.

The Al-Jarida daily said Education Ministry requires teachers, administrators, students over 12 years of age, and visitors to submit a negative PCR test for those who have not been vaccinated with the two doses of an approved vaccine to enter schools.

This is in addition to wearing masks, use of sterilizers and ensuring distance between students’ seats of not less than one meter.
