Stepfather Assaulting Stepdaughter

 An unidentified 20-year-old woman has filed a complaint with the Hawalli police accusing her stepfather of assaulting her, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the daily the woman has submitted a medical report to the police showing bruises on the face and shoulder. When the suspect was summoned for interrogation, he admitted to the charge and said he punished her for coming home late.

He added, she has been told that she cannot stay out of the house past 10:00 pm since she is staying in his house and he is responsible for her well-being. The daily did not give more details.
