Police Arrest Suspects And Seize Drugs And Paraphernalia

The Jahra Security Directorate arrested a person with a criminal record for possessing narcotic substances and drug paraphernalia.

The suspect was arrested in Taima, Jahra, on suspicion, according to a security source. The suspect was seated in a parked car and when police drove in his direction, he made a vain attempt to escape.

Police found two bags of shabu and drug paraphernalia in his car.

The suspect admitted to possessing the drugs seized from him and said they were for personal use during a preliminary interrogation.

Yesterday morning, patrolmen from the Ahmadi Security Directorate arrested a drug user and seized two cigarettes filled with hashish from him. He was caught at a checkpoint.

The Umm Al-Hayman police also caught two people in possession of a marijuana cigarette, a small blue pill, two bags of hashish, and nine Lyrica pills.
