An educational source revealed that the percentage of expatriate teachers working in the Ministry of Education schools during the current academic year (2020-2021) does not exceed only 27 percent of the total number of teachers, confirming that the Civil Service Bureau stipulated that their presence should not exceed 30 percent. And that the percentage of Kuwaitis is 70 percent, “which leads us to exclude the inclusion of expatriate teachers in the replacement plan for the fiscal year 2020-2021).

The source indicated that the Bureau had requested a statistic about the number of foreign teachers in 4 academic majors, which are history, philosophy, Islamic education and Sharia, stressing that the ministry provided the Diwan with their numbers coupled with the numbers of Kuwaitis, and if we exclude their inclusion by substitution, everything remains possible.
