05 October 2020 Health

The Ministry of Health (MoH) decided to reduce the home quarantine period to 7 days instead of 14 days for doctors and technicians working on its medical staff, who are stranded outside Kuwait and planning to return through transit flights, Al Jarida reported. This action came due tothe ministry’s need for its medical teams to deal with the coronavirus in the coming period, the daily said, quoting sources.

During the home quarantine period for doctors, technicians and others, they will have to download the Shlonik app to enable MoH to monitor quarantined people in addition to people who have had contact with them. Those under quarantine will have to enter all their vital data and communicate with medical teams in the Ministry of Health when they experience any of the coronavirus symptoms.
