Moh Start Collecting Health Insurance Charges From Expats Using Knet Service

Ministry of Health is working on establishing an electronic system for collecting health insurance charges from expatriates using KNet service.

The existing contract with the Public Services Company for collecting health insurance from expatriates will come to an end very soon and as per Al-Anba Arabic news paper, the move to collect insurance online is considered as the next step.

According to sources, a new tender will be floated for specialized companies to take the responsibility of collecting health insurance fees from expatriates on behalf of Ministry of Health. This will continue until the Health Insurance Hospitals Company for expatriates launches operations, which is expected within the coming three years.
