The Ministry of Higher Education has officially launched registration for its annual scholarship plan for the academic year 2024/2025. Registration commenced yesterday at 6 pm through the Ministry’s official website and will continue until Tuesday, July 2, 2024, as announced by the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Lamia Al-Melhem.
Al-Melhem emphasized that the registration process will remain open even after the announcement of the general secondary school results in government schools. This decision ensures that students from both public and private educational sectors have equal opportunities to apply for the Ministry’s scholarship seats. She highlighted the seamless link between the Ministry of Education’s website and the Ministry of Higher Education’s website, facilitating immediate registration for secondary education students in public schools following the release of their results.
In designing this year’s scholarship plan, the Ministry of Higher Education has taken into account the needs of the labor market in both government and private sectors. Al-Melhem mentioned that the plan encompasses several new specializations aligned with market demands, alongside an expansion of scholarship opportunities across various fields in numerous countries. This strategic approach aims to offer applicants a diverse array of choices in terms of specialization and destination country.
Al-Melhem urged students interested in the Ministry’s foreign scholarship plan to carefully review the available specializations and the updated registration conditions on the Ministry’s website. She clarified that the selection process for foreign scholarship seats prioritizes the accuracy of submitted data and documents over the speed of registration. Applicants must fulfill the specified conditions and criteria outlined in the scholarship plan to be eligible for consideration.
