29 May 2024 Education

As 42,984 twelfth-grade students gear up for their examinations, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated the digital follow-up center at the ministry's General Office. This initiative forms part of the ministry's commitment to enhancing the educational system's efficiency through the integration of modern technologies for improved monitoring, control, and communication mechanisms.

The center, inaugurated in the presence of Mansour Al-Dehani, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Hoda Al-Mutairi, Director of Information Systems, will serve as a central hub for monitoring remote work procedures and overseeing operations across all ministry sectors, educational regions, and schools.

Equipped with cutting-edge technology including advanced computers and large display screens, the center provides a platform for showcasing Ministry of Education data and statistics. Additionally, it features an advanced video communication system facilitating remote communication with educational districts and school administrations via the "Teams" program.

During the launch, Al-Adwani received a comprehensive overview from Al-Mutairi regarding the center's capabilities and its utilization during the 12th-grade exam period. This includes monitoring the progress of examination processes, communicating with control workers, accessing daily statistics, and ensuring transparency in result announcements.

Minister Al-Adwani's emphasis on improving the ministry's work strategy and leveraging digital capabilities underscores this initiative. Ahmed Al-Wahida, the Ministry of Education's official spokesman, highlighted that 14,817 students will sit for the literary section exams, 27,283 for the scientific section, and 884 for the religious education section.

Moreover, the ministry has launched an awareness campaign titled "Our Goal is the Summit," focusing on psychological, educational, and health aspects. An interactive section called "Ask Us" has also been introduced on the ministry's Instagram page to address students' inquiries with input from mentors and teachers.

As the exams approach, the ministry remains committed to providing a conducive and safe environment, with prayers for the success and guidance of all students.
